Oh man, oh man, oh man! I had a newborn session tonight and this little guy was just sooo sooo sweet. We had some GOOD laughs (hope mom is all cleaned up now!). After a bottle and some swaddling, though, we were good to go and got some super sweet images of this precious little boy. Enjoy!

This has been a long awaited session. Both of these beautiful “kids” are growing up on their parents and moving out in the world. We were hard pressed to find a date that would work for all of us but luckily, we managed. I met this family at the Oaklands Mansion and we had a fun time capturing family portraits and more! Enjoy.

This time of year, I’m blessed with clients who want ME to capture their family. They might get Christmas cards to send to all their friends and family or they might be buying portraits for gifts. Or maybe its just for themselves. This time of year, people in MY family also want some of those portraits. You’ve seen my sister’s children and now you get to see my husband’s side. Every year, my mother in law, likes to get some shots of her with my father in law plus all the grandkids. Originally we had planned a full session but instead ended up looking for just one good shots for the Christmas cards. Here it is!
You’ll recognize my beautiful girls here and the little boys are my nephews. Enjoy!

I’ve photographed these sweet children THREE times now. I have loved watching little M grow and getting to see big M turn into a little lady. This time it was little M’s FIRST birthday session, yay! At the last minute we decided to use the last few warmish days of this fall for an outdoor session. We used the lovely Oakland’s Mansion area and had a fun time. We have plans to still do a mini session for little M’s cake smash, so look forward to that! Enjoy!

I can honestly say that I like all of my clients. I enjoy my job, enjoy photographing children and enjoy meeting new people. But every once in a while I get to photograph someone(s) that aren’t just clients. This time, its my own niece and nephew. So not only do I like these clients, I love ‘em! Alot of times photographing children that KNOW you well is more difficult than photographing children that don’t know you. This time last year, these sweet little ones were some of my first few clients. Although they are beautiful (then and now), my nephew gave me a run for my money last year… and did NOT want to be photographed. This year I can 100% say that this was one of the easiest sessions I’ve had all year. They did great and we got done quickly. Which was good because today was pretty dang cold and the clouds just kept rolling in, thicker and thicker! Without further ado: some good looking kids that I have a little claim on! Enjoy!

Happiness, this little bit of precious just EXUDED it! She LOVED her momma and grandmomma and it showed! If I coulda, I woulda smothered this sweet little thing in kisses and hugs and I bet those two do on a regular basis. I was privileged to meet baby A, her mom and her grandmom today. I rescheduled them for this week because the weather was GORGEOUS and there are still some areas left with beautiful fall foliage that I didn’t want to miss out on. The clouds started rolling in but not before I got to photograph this beautiful baby to my heart’s extent! Enjoy.

I got the chance to photograph this sweet, full of fun little girl A. She’s recently turned 3 and will be getting a baby sister soon! We met at the Oaklands Mansion and some of the trees there are just breathtakingly beautiful right now. We had to keep to the perimeter since there was a wedding going on but we didn’t let it phase us! Enjoy.

For those who don’t know it, my husband is a minister. He’s a minister at an amazing church with an amazing staff. The H family is a part of that staff and I’m thrilled to have had the chance to photograph them! We end up seeing them pretty much all the time on the husband’s “turf” so it was fun to see them on “mine”. Mom wanted something a little less traditional and I hope I was able to deliver. We had alot of fun exploring the area around the Square in Murfreesboro! Enjoy!
