Hey guys!

If you are located here in Murfreesboro, you have SURELY heard about the Ruthie Awards given out each year.  This year, is the 16th year of these awards.  The awards purpose is to highlight the favorite businesses/service people/hospitals, etc etc.  And this year, YOUR photographer was nominated.  <Insert goofy grin here>.

And I’m happy to be nominated.  And while I know my business is very fairly young, especially compared to some of the other photographers/portrait studios in the area, I have high hopes.  I thought – “wow, wouldn’t it be super cool to be a finalist this year?!?”    I mean sure it would be crazy wow to win but to at least be a finalist, now that is a good goal, right?!  So this is where ALL of you come in!  Because well, you like me, right?!  <insert yet another goofy grin here>.  Would you please, please vote for me?

All you have to do is follow this link and then sign in.  You have to sign in with one of the social media outlets (ie facebook, twitter, myspace, google, linkedin, blogger, etc).  If you don’t have one you can also create an account with OpenID (you’ll see an option for that on the voting page).  I know this isn’t necessarily ideal to vote this way but the nice people at the Ruthies are trying to prevent cheating!  (Can you blame them?!)  So follow my link, sign in with you social media outlet (its safe and won’t steal your password, I promise!) and then vote.  If it goes through, a pop-up box will appear at the top of your page to say that you voted for me.

Know what else is cool?  You can a) vote for me EVERY DAY.  How awesome would that be??!   and b) you can choose to ask all your friends to vote for me as well (there is a little link right below my name that says “ask your friends to vote”… follow the directions, its SUPER easy!).
