It was a hot evening and little August just wasn’t so sure he wanted to smile tonight.  Actually, he was PRETTY sure he just wanted to jump into the creek and cool off!   No matter the conditions, August is a total cutie and I think we got some definite keepers!  Enjoy.

Okay so some newborns sleep.  And some eat.  And some fuss.  And some pee on us and some poop on us.  And you NEVER know what you are going to get.   So every session is interesting and different, just watching to see what kind of baby you’ll get.

So meet Mr Luke.  Precious little guy, 2nd born son to a sweet, fun family.  His mom and I had a great time chatting while we worked.  And let’s just say that after Luke… well I have a LOT of laundry to do!!    Enjoy.

That’s right, I had the opportunity to photograph newborn twins and they were sooo sooo sweet! I was able to do some shots of them, on their own and then some of them together. I have to say, they were soo much more peaceful and content with all my positioning and moving, when they were together! The BEST part was when their hands intertwined on one of the shots, with NONE of my doing! I can’t wait to see these two grow up and how much they’ll love on each other then! Enjoy.

The last time I saw baby B, he was just a sweet, peaceful newborn and now he’s a sweet, silly, fun little 6 month old baby boy!  I’m not going to lie to you, this session was hot and MOSQUITO filled.  I know his lovely family got attacked and I kept feeling like I was getting bit on my back but I thought, surely not, NOT through my shirt.  Until I got home and I had THIRTY THREE (yes, 33) mosquito bites THROUGH my shirt, covering my back.  I’m still itching and applying cortisone as I edit these super cute images.  And man, this little one is a CUTIE!  Enjoy!

I’ve been photographing this sweet little one since last year, when she turned 3 months old.  She’s always been beautiful and she’s always been alot of fun to photograph.  I’m a little sad that I won’t be seeing her every 3 months now… I’ve really enjoyed watching her grow!  She’s walking, crawling, and generally just being CUTE!  Enjoy.

This little guy sure wasn’t so sure about my posing!  He was a tiny little thing and sure liked to be cuddled.  He’s precious and sweet and I know his family is just in love with him!!

For those who are asking, I’m quickly booking into May and June.  May is just about booked up!  If you are thinking about a newborn session like this little guy’s… be sure to contact me while you are still pregnant.  Its very very important that newborn sessions, if at all possible, happen in the first 10 days of life.  After that, they start to lose their new, tininess and they stop wanting to sleep so much for us, as well

She’s back and this time she’s smiling!  We got smiles at 3 months but at 6, they were SUPER hard to come by.  This time, with a little help from daddy too… we got lots and lots of great smiles.  The weather was beautiful, the blooming trees and flowers were beautiful and the sun… well the sun was just down right for me!   This is a big sneak peek, because I had so many I just loved.  Enjoy!

Meet little A.  Beautiful, super sweet parents who were blessed with an equally beautiful, super sweet baby girl.  She was NOT really sure about giving me any great big smiles today but we got some gorgeous images, anyways.  We tried out several hats and bows and she let us play.  We also got something pretty elusive and oooh so sweet.  Check it out… and enjoy!

And the SUPER elusive, rarely seen SMILING, SLEEPING 4 month old!  How sweet is this??! And yes, I promise, she REALLY was asleep and smiling!  How cute is that?!

Man oh man, this little one is a cutie.  Having two girls, I often am found drawn to baby girls (because they are what I’ve experienced) but this little one, with his head full of hair and his little newborn “smiles” won me over instantly.  He’s precious and I had fun photographing him.  Enjoy!
